About Julia Wade
Julia Wade is a performer and recording artist whose work spans many different musical genres from classical to Broadway to pop. She has performed nationally and internationally in opera, cabaret, concert work, and musical theatre, including The Rome Opera and Carnegie Hall.
At present, Julia is deeply focused on inspirational music. She is currently the soloist of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, MA where she performs in three services each Sunday, both in English and Spanish. The Sunday services are broadcast on the internet, where Julia reaches a world-wide audience at tfccs.com
Ms. Wade has recorded four solo inspirational CDs to date: her brand new Spanish CD release, Alabado sea Dios, as well as Story for the Ages, Upon the Mountain, and The Greatest Thing in the World. Additionally, she recently released a new childrens’ CD, Ogden Nash’s Custard The Dragon; Julia has performed on musical cast records as well as other children’s CDs. Julia also loves touring her inspirational concert, A Canvas Of Colors.

Ms. Wade, I read your post about the new hymnal supplement released in 2008, and that you said it was the first new set of hymns since 1932. Are you familiar at all with the prior editions of the hymnal (i.e., the 1910 edition, the one right before the current one )? Also, are you familiar with Hymnal Notes published in conjunction with the 1932 edition? Thank you, and you have a great website!
